American rapper YKNiece, born Shanice Cameron, is an Atlanta artist raised on the city’s Westside whose breakout came fast enough to make a five-year plan look like decorative paperwork. Before music became her lane, she studied nursing at Columbus State University, worked jobs including package handling for Pepsi, and was better known for her personality than for chasing a rap career.
